Hi Everyone,
Sophie has helped me create this blog page. Due to the fact that I'm having difficulty keeping in touch with friends I thought this would be the better way to go. I can write a few lines more often. In fact, it's like writing a diary.
We are all well. John and I have just returned from a 2 week holiday down south in the caravan and had a relaxing time. We visited a couple of places we had never seen before and hope to go back again. This country is so vast.
We should have retired long ago, but are busier than ever. John is still working at the televsion station and also runs his own business (running a bookshop that specializes in Australian books). I'm still at the Araluen galleris as well as Front of House Manager.
We somehow find time to go to Rotary once a week and all the activities that go with that. Not much time for anything else, however we are happy with our lot and can't complain.
The children are well. Sophie, David, Emma and Antoine have been in Alice Springs for one year now and seem to be still enjoying living here. The grandchildren speak English well. Bronwyn, Marcus and Samuel have lived in Australia for three years and have settled to life in Alice Springs. Scott, Christine, Michael and Alexia are of course still in Switzerland.
